RELATIONSHIP OF SATISFACTION AND WELTH- a story

Relationship of satisfaction and wealth

A holy man was praying quietly. A rich businessman, watching him from some distance. He was very impressed with the holy man's commitment and earnestness. The business man offered the holy person a sack of gold. He said "I realize that you will utilize the cash for divine purposes. Kindly accept it."

The holy person answered "I don't know whether it is correct for me to take your money. Could you answer a couple of questions? Is it accurate to say that you are a well off man? Do you have more money at home?

The business man replied with a gracious yes, "I have no less than one thousand gold pieces at home."

The holy man again questioned "Do you need more than thousand gold pieces?

The business man replied "Why not, obviously yes. Consistently I strive to acquire more money."

The holy person pushed the gold back to the businessman and said: "I am sorry, I can't accept your offering.

A well off man doesn't accept money from a needy."

The businessman was very surprised and asked: "How could you call yourself a well off man and me a needy?"

The holy person answered, "I am a well off man as I am satisfied with whatever God gives me. You are a needy because regardless of what you have, you are constantly asking God for more."
