Personality is who we are
In some ways or the other we all have the same human nature yet in other way we are completely different and unique. No two people can have the same experience or same perspective or same mind.
So what is personality?
Personality is different ways of being human. We share different styles of thinking, feeling and acting. Human beings can differ in terms of mental, physical ( like height, weight, hair and so on), behavioural traits like some people are outgoing and talkative while some are quiet and reserved.
In ancient times it was thought that all people can be divided into four basic types:

Choleric
Melancholy
Phlegmatic
Sanguine Personality type
They tend to be lively optimistic and carefree. They love adventure and are high risk takers. these people are creative and become great artists. They are fantastic entertainers and do well in entertainment field. There natural abilities will serve them in a job like marketing, travel, fashion, cooking and sports.
Choleric Personality type
They are goal oriented person. They are very savvy, logical and analytical. They are practical and straight forward people. They dislike small talks and enjoy deep and meaningful conversations. Ideally they love to spend their time with similar professional interests. Ideal job related to them is management, statistics, technology, engineering, programming, business.
Melancholic Personality type
They love traditions. They love their families and friends and do not look for adventure. They are social and seek to contribute to community. They have perfect careers in management, accounting, social work or administration. Women like to cook for men and men open doors for woman.
Phlegmatic Personality type
They are usually people person. They are loyal spouses and loving parents. They preserve their relationships with neighbors, old friends and distant relatives. They try to avoid conflicts and try to mediate between others to restore harmony. They always help others and do lot of charity. Perfect jobs for them is nursing, counselling, teaching, social services, child development.
These are some of the points of different personalities but there can be some people with mixed personalities too. It depends your perspective of human nature.
